I had my first real estate experience when I purchased my first home in 2012. I knew then that being a realtor was something I had an interest in. I wanted to be the one to share the excitement of closing on home purchases and helping people through the process of buying and selling homes.
I was born and raised on a local small farm where I learned the true meaning of hard work and the value of a dollar. My husband and I are working to instill the same values into our children, which can be easier said than done in the electronic world we live in. My hobbies include fishing, hunting, and gardening all of which is a great way of spending time with my family.
Thomas Edison said, “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” Let me do the work and find your opportunity for a place you can call home.
"Our lot in Tellico Village had been on the market for several years with various realtors. We decided to list with Sonya Dalton and noticed a difference immediately. She worked very hard to understand each positive attribute of our lot, talked to our neighbors, and made sure that the listing was well described. She found several prospective buyers and helped us negotiate a satisfactory selling price. She handled the closing. Overall we are very happy with our experience in dealing with her and highly recommend her."

"We were thrilled to have Sonya guide us and represent us when we moved to the area. She is a woman of faith, with strong ethics and an open, honest demeanor. She made the process enjoyable for us even when buying a lot and building during the worst of the pandemic. We would highly recommend Sonya as either a buyer or a seller’s agent."
